SCIENNES SCHOOL COUNCIL CLUBS PRIMARY TWO 2010
WILL BE UPDATED SOON
Below is a list of clubs available to all Primary Two children. To apply for a place, complete one of the attached slips, in orde of preference, and post it in the appropriate box outside the Gym Hall. Each club has its own box.
Forms must be returned by Friday 27th August AT THE LATEST. Your child will then be contacted directly by the club tutor, who will give further instructions.
Most clubs start after the September weekend holiday although some will start sooner.
Please be aware that most clubs require a parent to sit in the class in case of emergencies and you will be expected to take your turn or arrange suitable cover for your date.
All fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each term. If your child takes up a place in a club please be aware that you are liable for the full term's fees. Do not include any payment with your club request. Families who receive free school meals pay 50% of fees for all clubs and must inform the tutor accordingly.
Every attempt will be made to inform children and parents/carers in advance when a club has been cancelled. However, occasionally cancellations happen at the last minute. You must make arrangements for your child to be dropped off and collected from the club by an adult. However, if you take the decision that your child is old enough to manage this situation then please ensure that they know what to do and where to wait for you if they find that a club is not on. Please note the After School Club have use of most of the playground, although children can wait in the bicycle sheds.
